+1!! no lights for me either. Never owned a 'show bike' so I never thought there was a need. "To each his own", though.

I've had lights installed at a rally by no-magic neon. I think everyone does iteventually......
Guess I'm not everyone and that is just fine with me. Those things will NOT go on any bike of mine. Around here, the only guys that have that stuff are the guys that ride from their house to the nearest Starbucks or "Biker Bar" and just want to be seen.
Sorry, just couldn't let you off the hook with that broad brush you used.

the day you look in your mirror while stopped at a red light at 1:00am and see a guy barreling at 70 or 80 mph and he's not slowing down (because he doesn't see your little red brake tail light) you might have a different view on getting lit up!!! I don't know about the rest of you but i love my bike and and i would like to be around to drive it for many more years.

I have 120 LEDs Red/White and Blue on my 04 EGC Burgundy Wine Red. I also have a trailer hitch for my trailer and my 2-7' masts for my flags that I use for Patriot Guard escorts. I turn them on at night when we reach our destination and if it is appropriate. I receive MANY compliments on it when used in conjunction with the flags. Have used them while doing The Wall escort and they placed the bike at the head of the group because of the size of the flags, 3'x5', and then later the lights.
I don't have them on for GP and don't run them at night while riding. Just my way of saying "Thank You" and giving someone something to look at to show it.

Neither!
I have 300 Orange LED's on my 08 Ultra Classic.
Check out Joe Florida LED Accent Lights you can also find his lights on Ebay. He has a lifetime warranty, if they ever burn out or stop working he'll replace them no if's and's or but's about it. I had one stip where all the LED's did not light up, I called him and 2 days later I had the replacement strip in hand.

This thread is FIVE years old. You'd probably get better responses if you started a new thread.
BTW: accent lighting on bikes is a love/hate thing. People either love 'em or they absolutely hate 'em. The guys who hate 'em are not shy about voicing their opinions about how they're "gay", "retarded" and any number of other immature expletives they can think of. So, be prepared for that.
