Bus er
Back to the, bus er on my 2008 Ultra ,battery is 4yrs old , putting out 12.2 volts at rest, 13.40 started , & 13.70 at 2000 rpm seems a little low . I charged battery, cleared codes , removed outer fairing , checked for any bad wiring , & connections , let it run for 10 minutes no bus er ? , does voltage seem low enough to cause any problems, been checking for a pinched wire , going to put fairing back on & fire it up in awhile , driving me nuts

Don't know what you mean either but if you know it is running at sub 14 volts I would at least have a battery sitting on standby. Put a new battery in 2 bikes last summer. This morning I went to take one for a new rear tire and had to jump it. Fluke I hope as I came home last week to notice the GPS lit and hoping that was the only problem.

Bus er
thanks for the reply, a few weeks ago , I installed a bikemaster led headlight bulb with a driver, a week or so later , bus er came up on my odometer ( u can read my old post on this ) changed back to stock headlight , still problems , threw some codes , had trouble starting it a few times , erased codes a few times , not sure if bulb caused problem, or wiring issue? Have appointment to drop off at shop Thursday , but I might bite bullet & buy a battery , I'll probably fight it til Thursday

Yes.
Depending on the system and details it gives, this sort of problem can be a bugger to find and fix. Some systems will give you more information, helping you zero in on where the problem lies. But some will simply display the likes of "error", and then you're on your own to figure out. Hopefully there will be some symptoms to help guide you.
