Dyno sheet shows me where happiness is, 31-3600rpm. I just spent too many years pushing diesel motors, hard to adjust....

Couple places in the valley to buy non ethanol gas as well. Might help also I have the cables and software if you need to check to see where your bike is running at, temp wise and what not.

Pinging is a sign low octane , try the highest octane non-ethanol premium available and see what happens.

Hell ya!
Wife rides a Can Am Spyder, so she wants to go. Biggest problem, gramma lives with us, so getting out can be rough, and I work on a sprint car that runs @ Meridian, which takes up a lot of time.

Trying to change BOTH issues...

I was thinking I may need to re-tune on a Dyno, but if you have the stuff that plugs into my Super Tuner Pro, heck yeah! I have the cam and piston info.

I'm going to street vibration later this month, I'll get in touch...

THANKS!

An engine will ping for a variety of reasons. One is octane of course. It really doesn't matter ethanol or not. A high carbon buildup. Overly hot engine. MAP sensor not operating properly. Spark advanced to much. One clue is does this happen in closed loop or not. It's not always an easy fix.
