Default Heel toe shifter

So I want to remove the heel shifter portion. Just don't like it and it's just in the way for foot positioning. I have been searching for solutions to what I need. What I am running into is if I remove the heel shifter I want to move the toe shifter out to where the heel one was sitting on the shift shaft. Problem is the toe shifter where it's at keeps the shaft in place. I've thought about cutting off the heel shifter all the way down then just swap the two. I don't want to destroy original parts. Other than finding one at a junk yard do they make an option for this? Something with the splines for the shaft. Feel like I'm way over thinking this ****.

Find a piece of the correct ID tubing and cut to length.

**** been looking at this for two days. Just answered my own question. Took the shifter peg off and just put one behind the other.

Why does there have to be anything behind the toe shifted. Can't it just be tightened down on the spline in the right position?

I think that's called lateral thinking!

No it keeps the shaft from sliding side to side. There's a plastic spacer in between both levers and the engine body but with out the second lever it moves in and out.
