Default What does this mean?

So I changed the Spark Plugs today as part of my tune up on the bike and the rear plug was a little rusty but looked good at the electrode. The front plug on the other hand didn't look so good. What does this mean as far as what might have been the problem. I noticed when I put the new one in that there was some crud in the threads so I took a magnet and cleaned out what I could and then used a little microfiber towel and a smaller bolt to try and get any oil out. Could this mean the front plug wasn't tight in the hole and could that have caused the poor running I described in another thread? I will find out later today I guess as it's 2 am here and I don't want to wake my neighbor going out this late and coming back right away.

Ok so I scraped all the junk off the old plug and it appears to be ash or carbon build up. Does this mean there is something majorly wrong with the front cylinder?

Google spark plug reading chart. Don't over torque putting it back in that can be a expensive mistake. Put anti sieze on the threads and remember a little goes a long way

I googled it and found this post on this forum. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...n-my-dyna.html I think mine is the ash deposit one as it was not oily and there does not appear to be damage to the plug under the ash as you can see in my 2nd picture.

Plug looks dirty at the gasket also indicating it was possibly loose.

suggest the following, if using fuel treatmemt stop.

change gasoline brands

ride the bike at least 100 miles without cutting the engine off

pull plugs when cool after doing above check plugs again

1. if ash present indicates potential seepage of oil from valve seals

2. if no ash, ride more dont worry

my thoughts, option 2 wil be answer

Using an octane booster or other fuel additive? My front plug looks similar when I use it.

Ya I put a little seafoam in to clean the injectors as it was running bad when I first got it. EDIT: Just got back from a short run and eh it doesn't really run any different. seems like maybe it idles a little better but the Meh spot in 4th and 5th WOT is still there. It doesn't fall on it face anymore at WOT it just doesn't feel like it has any power either.
