Default V&H Pro Pipe vs Fuel Moto Road and Track.

Anybody running the road and track on a 96ci touring bike? How's it compare to the pro pipe. Only other mod I intend to do is a set of Andrews 48h cams down the road.

I have the R/T on my 96" with TW222's. Do you want loud when you twist the throttle? If so the R/T will deliver in aces!

Did you ever run the pipe without the cams? I plan on getting the pipe first and then the cams in a few months when the $$$ comes in. The main reason I'm leaning towards the R/T is the deal with the discounted Power Vision. My current set up has the old school "piggyback" fuelpak, stock headpipe, monster rounds and K&N (I don't want to run cams until I have a better tuner). Would the performance gains from the R/T with the new tuner be worth doing now?

I knew I wanted a 2/1 just based on sound and performance. Was hell bent on a ghost pipe. Considered D&D, Rush, and Drago. However I came across the same deal from FM with the discounted PV. So I ditched my piggy back and went for it. The map from FM is spot on. I couldn't be happier with the look, sound, and performance.

My previous set up was IDENTICAL to yours as far as exhaust, tuner, and slipons. Except of course for my cams.

I've always run the pipe with the cams. Can't speak to the performance gains with your set up and stock cams. Call FM.

I spoke with FM today. Told them basically what we've talked about here. I'm wanting the pipe in black which won't be available until late September. This may give me enough time to scrape the cash to do the cams at the same time! FM said they have better maps for the 222 you are running than they do for the 48. You wouldn't happen to have a video of your bike running? I'd like to hear it (even though I'm sure the video won't do it justice). Thanks for your replies, you've been very helpful.

I don't have a video but there's several good ones on you tube. Much better than I could provide.
