Default I am a believer (Ohlins shocks)

Well I was a big fan of my legends Aero-A shocks, love the adjustability on the fly and they were such an improvement over stock I was very happy. Then I put 20 miles on a friends bike with ohlins rear shocks. I quickly contacted Howard at Motorcycle Metal and ordered a set of remote reservoir rear shocks for my 2015 Street glide. Well I just got back from a 340 mile ride and I am super impressed with these shocks. If you are on the fence trust me you cant go wrong with Ohlins. So plush on the small square edge bumps and very controlled on higher speed g-out situations. Now I wonder whether or not I should switch out my legends front cartridges for Ohlins units...I need to make more money now. Thank you Howard for the very fast quality service!

Ohlins sent me an 18-27nm progressive for the HD 357. Ohlins will help you out no matter the vendor. The ride is VERY good now for 1up AND 2up. The standard 25 and 21-29 progressive was a bit much 1 up. 210lb rider, 110lb passenger. 1 3/8"+ sag 2up. 16 clicks comp, 12 rebound for 1 up. 14 comp, 12 rebound 2up. 2up we hit the bump stop only on the largest of stuff. As it should be. ymmv

Talked to Howard the other day and have a set coming for my 03 RK to replace the Progressive 444's. Can't wait for them to get here and put them on!

Rode 340 miles today. I am a newbie and it hurts. Without the Ohlins it would have been unbearable. The stock "adjustable" Harley shocks will drive your butt up around your shoulders. Thanks again, Howard.

Thanks for the kind words. There is no comparison between any other cartridge system on earth V/S my (I am the only one who makes it) NIX 30mm fully adjustable Ohlins cartridge system. There are many on this and other forums who have it installed. I developed this (I believe) system in 2008 for the Dynas than developed my triple trees for the 1986~2013 FLT's to install the 49mm cut down Dyna fork tubes and V-Rod lowers which is a direct replacement. In 2014 HD came out with the correct length fork tubes & FLT sliders which made things much easier.

Read the many comments on this conversion 41mm to 49mm on this forum and many other forums who have done this. Below is fitment for the RK Nacelle.
