Look...there is no such thing as a free lunch...and what's wrong with a dealer making a profit? If all of us buyers didn't make money, we couldn't buy our bikes!
I agree that all of these extra fees is just really extra profit...but if you're gonna get twitterpated about that, hell. Just go buy a used bike from a private party.
No need to micromanage a deal...just tailor the deal to fit into what you want to spend and within your budget.

Go for 20k out the door. If you can get out the door for $1k under msrp I think you are doing pretty good. They will tell you "oh we can't remove the doc fees, prep fees, blah blah blah" My response is always "ok, don't remove them, but you need to take the equal amount of money off the price of the bike then"

The biggest thing that sold me was they also threw in the 4 year extended warranty package. That was like a $1,700 perk. If the dealer sticks to his price, ask for an extended warranty, a free lifetime service plan, maybe $1,000 in free accessories. Beat them up.... They will do it to you if they can.

MSRP for a 2017 RK with two-tone paint, ABS and Security is $20,989.

But you can still beat them up for another $500 if you think they will go for it.
