Default road king with hd batwing fairing and gauges

I would like to install a h d batwing fairing and gauges. I want the gauges to work on my 2003 road king (FLHRI)

I have an older Road King with a simple Memphis Shades detachable fairing and love the versatility. I can ride with fairing, HD shield or nothing at all. If you convert the bike you just might regret it down the road. When I was last doing my makeover I wanted to do the same thing you are thinking about, even bought the fairing from someone. Then midstream I changed my mind and glad that I did. Good luck in your decision.

Will it be permanently mounted or do you want to be able to remove it?

I made a removable fairing with OEM parts. No gauges. Can't help much.

I have an aftermarket fairing (Woody) that was on my '09 and have since moved it to my '17. I prefer fairings that have both an inner and outer shell. Despite the fact that I never (okay, rarely) take it off, I use a four pin power connector so I can simply unplug the fairing from the bike. It comes off by simply loosening the four acorn nuts and the fairing comes off like the standard windsheild. I remove it for the once a year deep cleaning for those hard-to-get areas.
