I'm running 412s on my RG. Honestly, I wouldn't get them again. Only 5 steps of adjustment for preload. Adjusting them to 1/3 sag like Prog recommends had me bottoming out (I ride solo, 210#) and increasing preload to stop bottoming made the ride harsh.

Essentially, the ride is like the stock air shocks without having to worry about air pressures.

Im happy with mine on 2013 FLHTC. Im 225lbs and got the HD version. Solo on 2nd setting works well. 2 up setting 4. The worst bumps will bottom still but no where near as harsh as original air shocks.

I just put a set on my 14 sgs, we will see if there any better then the "premium" shocks that they came with. only rode with them once so far and had them on the second to the stiffest setting and they were to stiff I weigh 290 ish.

I too just put them on my 2010 RG. 12" HD set. I am 250 setting 2 is solo for me. On 3 they were too stiff. 2 works ok ill use 3 for 2 up with my GF. Honestly I'd save your $270 for a better shock and skip these they are ok at best. I read countless reviews on them most people praised them but I feel they suck I won't do it again.

I don't have the 412's but I do have the 444 hd ones and the wife and I love them, I have them dialed in and 2 up its perfect, leave it set that way and it's a little light one up but not bad
