will a streetglide seat fit my 2012 roadking?

If the Street Glide seat is off a '08 or newer bike, yes it will.

Up to and including 96, not sure how far back.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Unfortunately not many, as the means of fitting your seat (and mine) is quite different to later models. If you want a bolt-on you are limited, although the long-standing brands like Corbin and Mustang still make them new.

In 2008 the fuel tank was enlarged to 6 gallons, compared to ours at 5 gallons, so that year and later will not fit readily, however earlier ones can probably be persuaded to fit your bike, if you are happy to experiment a little and add a bracket to the rear of the seat.

It is worth pointing out that we have a dedicated Evo section, where you can meet many more current owners of bikes like yours, so do call by!
