Yeah, I'm only a few miles from the ocean here in SF, bike is a garage queen.

I bought it used with 6K miles on it, came from SoCal. Fork legs looked perfect. After 2-3 years here, they looked terrible.

I had them chromed a few years back, and they look much much better, but they still need maintenance and polishing.

I live right on the coast in Florida and to keep your ride looking new you need to thoroughly wash it at least every other outing.With my bike just sitting outside the garage,I will get a white film all over it from the salt air.Corrosion can be prevented,but it takes elbow grease.S100 sells a corrosion preventative spray that works well.

My 15's lowers were a little crappy looking, I went with chrome lowers when I did my 180 kit. A little extra bling,, and easier to keep looking good.
