Is there more to this swap other than making the gauges fit? Do the newer SG fairing brackets fit the pre/non-Rushmore SG? I’d like to do this swap to my 2011 FLHTP since it came stripped of radio. I might as well upgrade to vented and double din dash while I’m installing a gps style radio. Thanks

 

Now that's a real game changer with the rushmore fairing .Hopefully he will share his journey .

 

i have no problems sharing. my bike fell if my lift table and had to redo it its not bad really and added some audio lol (i do not own the rights to this music its for demonstration only)

 

Did the inner fairing bolt wholes line up on the forks the same as the stock fairing? I am working on the same project!

 

yes 08 and up you will have to trim around the handlebars to sit down to match key bezel

 

So do you know if an 05 would be the same as your 08 as far as mounting it?
