Default Eye wear..... what are your preferences?

Since I have a Road King (touring), not sure where else to post this....

But still a good discussion:

Eliminating "goggles"... what is everyone's favorite and/or eyewear preferences?

I have HD transitional which are nice because only one pair needed. But the foam is getting loose, and also gets hot around the eyes.

I don't mind paying for a good pair (Oakley, etc), but without the foam, the wind can still get to the eyes (including dust).

Does anyone else have any input on other types/brands with great luck, even without the "foam surround"?

(Pics attached are the ones I currently have & use)

Thanks!

Are you riding without a windshield?
I wear Oakley Flackjacket XLJ with interchangeable lens for various lens types, depending on conditions. At night, I wear some ultra light clear safety glasses that fit very well.
Fit for you is very important, but safety is #1.
I always ride with a windshield, if not I might consider foam, but not for me now.

I use the
3M BX Bifocal Safety Glasses

The Bifocals allow me to see the guages and things clearly (I'm old!) They are cheap enough if they drop you don't have to worry about scratching an expensive pair as you get geared up. I always ride with a shield however.

Yes, I do ride with my windshield.... MOST of the time. I may take it off if just riding locally & no major highways.

Nice info. Thank you!

I wear safety glasses that I get from work. Dark tinted and clear ones. They're comfortable, cheap and do well at blocking wind.

These are pretty good. They have the foam inserts and are replaceable. You can get them with different lenses, which are also replaceable.

You can get 'em at most places and here http://www.opticsplanet.com/7-eye-sunglasses.html

I use Liberty Sport Rx glasses with the foam inserts which you can remove and put rubber ones in for heavy rain. They have been great.
