Default Non HD Highway Pegs?

Has anyone else had good luck with an aftermarket long angled highway peg that was not original HD?

Default hi-way pegs

Yeah. I have some aftermarket pegs, don't remember the brand. The clamp is one of those three piece things with small allen screws to hold the pieces together. Had them on for over 100,000 miles now, with no problem. The mounting bolt (pivot) for the peg is kinda ugly, so I got a set of covers meant for covering backrest mounts, etc. They're magnetic, so the stay on just fine. Never lost one yet. All in all, I'd say been good results. Got the mount at HD, but I've seen them many other non-HD shops.

I have these, work great. They have them in straight and the offset, which I use to go around my lower fairings.

FWIW, I would avoid anything Kuryakyn. I had the same highway pegs as above and I had the tie-down brackets. Both products started rusting in less than a year. YMMV

I have kuryakyn highway pegs/foot rests and have no issues.
Just have to make sure to tighten the bolts well & I used blue locktite. I like them.

Have had a couple sets and only issue I have had is the largest Allen head locking into position is not the greatest metal and will only take a couple adjustments before starting to strip out. Otherwise they do what they are intended to do. No doubt some are better and some are worse. If buying on ebay, as with any purchase I regard the rating of the seller.
