Default 2017 Road King Handlebar Options

What handlebars will go on a 2017 Road King without requiring new cables? Maybe just one cable?

I'm looking to go up and wider.

Are risers an option?

You want to be as comfortable as you can be. Buy the bars that are the right height, and if you need cables so be it. Don't sacrifice comfort for cable length.

Of course adding the cables adds some cost, but get what's comfortable. You'll be glad you did.

Looking for recommendations for a 2017 King that will flatten the wrist angle. I've been scouring the internet, but your real life experience is welcome

Check out Factory 47! They claim they can do 12" and 14" without needing cable extensions.

I had to change them on my street glide because my old cables were shorter than stock. Not sure why the previous owner just didn't keep the stock cables, but whatever!

Go to the stealer and sit on some used touring bikes with different bars.
That's what I did and found the Heritage bars were the best fit for me. no cable changes as well.

I did 12" Wild1 Chubby Reapers. I have a CVO seat that sits me down an inch or two also, so they are like 13's or 14's to me. It took some getting used to. I like the look of them being straight up in line with the fork tubes. So there is a little reach. I am 5'8. My hands would get tingly and I had to drop one at a time to get circulation back. But the more I rode the better it go. I no longer have my hands "fall asleep" My wrists never hurt. I think this is as tall as you can go with stock cables.

Road King High Handlebar won't need new cables.

Wild1 Chubby 14" Apes, but you WILL need cables and write extensions.
