Default Aftermarket lower fairings reviews please

who has bought aftermarket lower fairings and did you like them or no? Have a 2011 street glide that I'm considering adding them for our long trips (4-5k mile). The ones I see most on eBay are Mutazu and TCMT. I know mutazu usually sucks but anyone have the other brand ? Or have a set of stocks they sell cheap? We leave first week of august so I'm rushing just a tad I know

I bought an ebay set, LOVE THEM as they serve their intended purpose.. no issues to date BUT I did use quick detach hardware.. finally hot enough here in NJ to remove them takes about 5 minutes with the QD

I paid $75 ( vivid black match is spot on ) if I remember right BUT the same lowers can be had now for around $55 shipped and another $20 for the QD hardware

I bought a set off Amazon, XMFT was the brand and had sent them back. Paint black blobs in inner portions, linkages not connected, etc. I ended up getting OEM's instead.

I bought a set from Hogworkz since they were being distributed by some of the bigger retailers now. I had them shipped directly to the painter I use and will get them this week, I'll repost in a few days and let you know how they are.

I bought a set off eBay for $55 and once installed they are fine. You will need to buy hardware of some kind. Had to add a piece of inner tube around the crash bar to get them to fit snug. Vivid black is a match and for the price I'm very satisfied.

Oh yeah, I thought I would take them off in the summer but with the vents I get plenty of air.

Check out AdvanBlacks web site. I have purchased two sets from them and was very pleased with fit and finish and of course price.

Got my Hogworkz lowers back from the painter and very impressed with the fit and finish on them. Had originally ordered the speaker pods with them but the grills on the Kappa's I wanted to use wouldn't fit in the recess. I decided to return the pods, but very happy with the lowers and glove boxes. I think in the long run the extra storage will be more beneficial and really no issue with the sound with just the two speakers I'm running now.

If you might want a set of OEM's, pm me. I have a vivid black set from a 2005 Ultra Classic.
