Hey all:

I just noticed that when I look at my radio display from an angle, I see what appears to be the coating on the inside of the display screen "glass" scratched, not the LCD. As though oil was on top of water. I did get caught in the rain last week. I am not sure it has not always been there, but I just noticed it.

Anyone have this issue or any idea whatthis is?

Mine has "spots" underneath the display. All the rubbing in the world does nothing. It appears that water got underneath and dried in spots. I'd love to know how to get rid of them without completely disassembling the radio?

 

My "06" shows what looks like a film of oil. Not sure how it got there, or what it is.
As long as it doesn't affect the radio, I'm not worried.

 

I am having this same problem. I noticed it when I got my 07 streetglide back from the dealer after service (they wash 'em)
It sat in the parking lot a work in the sun, I've washed it once since then, still there... has anyone figured this out? If not I'm going to run it by the shop and see if they can explain.
