Question Replace Passenger Floorboards With Pegs on RGU

When walking the bike (parking, etc.), the top of my calves often hit the mounting bracket for the passenger floorboards on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra.

My better half has her own bike, so I don't find myself with a passenger too often, so I was thinking of replacing the passenger floorboards with pegs.

I'm looking for recommendations on pegs and mounting brackets that wouldn't stick as far out when the pegs are folded up?

What about the ones that came stock on the FLTRX? They didn't protrude as far forward as the boards do if I recall. Think I might have a set in the parts bin.

I'd swap you your floor boards for my pegs. There off a 14 sg. OL hates the legs and wants floor boards. I'd pay shipping. Pm me if your interested.

I'll make the same offer. Pegs off a 16' SGS for boards.

Batman's '14 SG passenger pegs stick out 5 inches when folded up, the same as my current '16 RGU's passenger floorboards. does anyone make pegs that are closer?

If you don't ride 2 up, just remove them.

I don't ride 2-up often, or for very long, but it does happen occasionally. That's why i was wondering if there was a peg solution that could make it possible, if not as comfortable as the floorboards.

I can find plenty of aftermarket peg mounts online, but not a single one I've come across gives the dimensions.

It's not the pegs that make the difference, it's the mounts.
