Replace Passenger Floorboards With Pegs on RGU
#11
Agreed, but it appears that the much wider floorboards require the extra distance away from the frame where pegs would not.
Nevrtheless, your right. What I'm really looking for are shorter mounts. Once I fond those, finding pegs should be the easy part.

I installed pegs on the rear of my '08 FLHT, and used an aftermarket mount, maybe drag specialties, don't really remember. Pain in the *** installing, but worked great once installed. Didn't stick out more than about an inch and a half., plus the thickness of the pegs themselves. You can use moist any pegs that will fit the bracket, as it is generic. I used HD pegs, but use what ya got.

had the same issue with feet on the ground (15 RGS) but my wife wanted more than the stock streamliner pegs for her feet. Ended up with mini floor boards for passenger with Harley mini floorboard mount kit (50500403A). Moves the boards closer to the frame. improvement for both of us
I already have a set of mini floorboards attached to the front as rider highway pegs. I'm wondering if having then in both the forward and passenger positions would look odd.
I'll have to think about that one... thanks!
