Default New wheel

Hello everyone...I'm new to the forum and to Harley Davidson. I have an 08 street glide with a 16" front wheel. I want to change it out with an 18" airstrike wheel from HD. I understand the 08 and up have 25mm bearings so that won't be a problem. Can I use the same rotars I have now for the new wheel and tire? I've read that it's somewhat of a simple process. Is this true? Thanks

The rotors are the same. There are a lot of 18" Airstrikes on Craigslist, Ebay and want ads so keep your eyes open.

Indeed. I put an 18" airstrike on my 08 FLHT and swapped my rotors straight over.

I picked my wheel up for $60. :P

I even have an 18" Airstrike on my 1990 Glide, although that did involve a bit more effort. A very popular upgrade!
