Default Mustang Wide Touring: rider position?

In relation to my stock 2014 SG seat, how does the Mustang Wide Touring position the driver? Based on my searches it seems that the position context for manufacturers and most posts are from an Ultra seat and position.

Backstory: looking for a 2up seat. Like the stock SG ok, but not my passenger. I am 5'10", 31 inseam. Like the more narrow nose on the SG seat. Tried a Sundowner. Was only ok. Sat about an inch higher and some forward.

Try the mustang sport touring. It has a narrower nose. I tried one and found I wanted a wider one, so I went with the wide touring. Then I found a low touring for a price I couldn't pass up. So if it's narrower your looking for, give the sport a try. See if you can find a dealer with demo seats. Beats having to buy one and not like it.

Wide Touring will sit you forward about 1-1/2" and up maybe 1/2".

If you go with the Mustang "Super" Touring it will sit you back about the same as a stock SG seat and up maybe 1/2".

You can call Mustang's customer service and get fairly good comparison figures. Some of the numbers posted in these forums are not correct. Some even contradict each other. Some say a seat moves you forward and somebody else says not. Give them a call.

The SG is not a 2-up seat IMHO! Your local H-D dealer may have dual seats you and your passenger can try out, in their 'fit centre', or whatever they call it these days. They are committed to helping you both get comfortable, so worth calling by.
