Question Batwing rubber edge loose

Anyone know which glue is used or can be used to reattach the batwing rubber edging? It is a glue that is pliable. I am tired of buying new ones when the glue starts to get loose.

Gorilla Glue gel. 1 dot every inch in the channel. Clear all the old rubber cement out first.

I'm sure any glue that works with plastic and rubber will be fine.

I'd use a general purpose silicone held in place by blue painters tape until it sets up.

This is an excellent idea...RTV silicone...Black Death works good too (black 3M weatherstrip adhesive). Yellow Death works better, but is really ugly and hard to keep from dolloping over where it shouldn't be.

What I've found is the absolute best...but is not intended for the general public...is the adhesive used for dryer drum seals. It is a contact cement intended for higher heat...great stuff. The Whirlpool part number is Y055980, and the WCI (White Consolidated Industries AKA Frigidaire) number is 5308027429. Try Googling those numbers or see if they are available on Amazon or eBay. I use it for all sorts of different things, but man...is it expensive. A small tube is twenty bux!

+1 with a silicone adhesive, excess can be cleaned with mineral spirits while it's wet.
