Awesome information Yes, I have more than working knowledge of carbs and have played with needle, slides and jets for altitude changes on dirt bikes and street bikes for years. I also looked on the dyno website and did not find a match for my bike. I have run without o2 sensors for 4 years and am happy with everything about my tune except idle and it is just barely off. I have also read about leaving the idle position fueling alone but my bike feels lean and hot at idle and will go into eitms mode when others dont. Figured after 4 years, maybe it was about time I at least looked at my map. My bike was dyno tuned when all of the products were installed in which I bought the whole it from an indy. at the time, i wasnt concerned about ever making changes and really didnt feel the need but riding more to work and more and more traffic and really noticing the popping at idle. so, this is why id did not have the needed cord and accesories. thanks so much for the insite, much appreciated! I worked nights printing American currency(legally) and seldom get a chance to visit the forums during the day. i got up early specifically to read up on this today! thanks again guys
So, I used my gopro hero cord, downloaded the software, hooked up and reviewed and saved map. My map did have some adjustments made at 0 throttle at idle rpm and the next few rpms above. I made 1 point adjustment at just above and below throttle rpm on the rear cylinder only, idle evened out immediately. I saved that map and loaded it on the bike. I am riding to work tonight to see how it goes. Yes, it took just a minute after I removed my seat. i did this in my corner of my garage as my daughters furniture and my wifes car are taking up my road king spot,lol. thanks everyone for the contribution
For Kumaride - -Attached are pictures of the bungs I added for the Bosch O2 sensors on the '03 glide. After using Autotune I removed the sensors and plugged the holes until the next time we want to tune.
