Add A Fairing?

RE: Add A Fairing?
Can someone do a follow up on this thread? I love the idea of a quick disconnect for the gauges. Let me know how all this worked out! Send/Post pictures. I need some ideas!
I'm still trying to decide which one to go with... I have a road king classic, leather saddle bags and leather tour pak on back. I really wanted a fairing that I could put the Harley leather bra on to match the other leather on the bike.
The leather harley bra will fit on the dragon fly fairing, the other fairing manufactuers have yet to respond to this question.
I really like the syle/size/fit of thegaragefather http://www.thegaragefather.com/Index...E-698C37A08944
But I doubt the Harley bra will fit.
I like the lockablity of the dead center fairing. http://www.deadcentercycles.com/default.aspx
I think the dragonfly is over priced. https://www.dragonflycycleconcepts.com/order.htm
I can't make up my mind about the quadzilla...Does the two speakers get loud enough? If so, let me know. http://www.hoppeindustries.com/spstrhb.html
My main reasons for buying a fairing are in this order - sound, gauges, looks/protection.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey hd6...
Here is a link to a few pics I took the day after I painted it and drove the bike to work:

Here is a link to a few pics I have done some graphic work on in regards to gauge layouts. I laid them out so if I start off with 3 gauges I can add two more if desired. I still haven't made up my mind: (page will take a few minutes to load)

I went with the Dead Center Cycles and the two speakers are definitely enough. I did a few things here and there that, I think, were improvements. I also added a power outlet for heated clothing. For now I am using a quick connect harness I made for the stereo connection....total of 3 wires - constant power, switched power and ground. When plugged in the connector fits down hidden under the handle bars right where the forks lock is located.
Let me know if you have any specific questions I may be able to answer.

Hey Bill....
No difference at all. The only thing I had to get used to was the view. It's a bit different when you're used to being able to see the road right in front through the handle bars area and stock windshield but certainly not a big deal at all. If anything it would be more of a mind game since you now have this much larger part in front of you. Personally I would say go for it. I am extremely happy with it and glad I went ahead and did it. The windshield I got on my fairing is a 7" which sits about 1.5" lower than the stock windshield with no real wind difference.
