Default Dunlop D407

Why am I having trouble finding the D407's WWW for my 14 RoadKing, looked in Dennis Kirk catalog & J&P, don't see them, any help?

Go to Dunlop's website. I think they make the WWW and NWW in the American Elite. If not Metzler makes a WWW in their 888 Ultra. If DK does not list them, call them direct.

I see the American Elites, but no D407's. Sent an e-mail to Dennis Kirk, hope to hear from them tomorrow.

Could take it to the dealer but they want $393.00 out the door (includes the tube), but that ain't happening.

D407 are only sold at Harley Dealers

I thought the D407F were recalled & discontinued for the D408F...

I got one free for my 09 due to the recall.

One is front and the other is rear.

I've been told the American Elite is the same as the stock tire, but just with a slightly different tread pattern so they can be sold through normal retailers.

Check with Brighton H-D. They used to have the best dealer prices on tires, usually during the spring but it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you were happy with the stock Dunlops then just get the American Elite tires available anywhere and cheaper. You will equally happy if not more so with the Elite's
