Cam chain tensioner
#11
Getting some time finally to do a inspection and was wondering if I have to pull the exhaust out or back enough to get the bottom cap head screws out, stock head pipes are in the bike now,I also noticed even with the floorboard off my floorboard bracket is welded to the frame only allowing about 1/4-3/8 of clearance to pull exhaust back

I just replaced to OEM cam tensioners @ 50k and again @ 100K.... alas, @141K the front cam bearing **** the bed, and gouged out the cam race, sending fragments all through the engine.... but I can't blame that on the cam tensioners (which were fine, at the time)
You'll have to check the crankshaft run out, before going gear drive... but you'll never fret about tensioners again
