Suggestions for getting baffles out of rinehart mufflers
I bought the hi-flo baffles for my 4" rinehart mufflers, was of the belief they could be swapped without pulling mufflers off the bike. Got the end caps off fine, but it's like the baffles are welded in. They won't budge, I tried lube spray, vice grips, hitting a hammer on the vice-grips, nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

The baffles should be sealed in with RTV. Just keep wiggling and pulling. They will break free and pull straight out. Let the bike run to warm everything up as well.
When I changed to the hi-flows, one side came out easy, the other was a bit of a pain. Warming the bike up made that one rip out easier.

The RTV bonds the baffle to the mounting surfaces so that they don't come loose and rattle. There's been a few posts lately where people have experienced this. Check the instructions on installing the hi-flow baffles and you'll see what I mean.
Just keep at it. Once it starts to release it will pull right out pretty easily.
