Started riding again back in 96 = Fatboy, 2000 WG = 2004 EG/RG ALL had Corbins on them - I am lucky enough to live within 80 miles of the Hollister Factory so each seat has been built "while I wait" I would not ride on anyting else...

I have corbins on all of my bikes, my wife and I love them that is the first thing we buy when we get a new bike. There have been many post about corbin seats and you will get different people who either love them or hate them.

Over 60,000 miles on my dual tourer and no complaints from me or the missus.

I too am looking at a Corbin seat. Does it matter if you already have a HD backrest? Does the passenger backrest need to be from corbin too?

Thanks,
Todd

I'm also a huge Corbin fan. My old RKC had a Classic solo and my new RG also has the Classic solo. My wife doesn't ride enough for me to justify spending the money on a Dual Tour, although $250 for a brand new one is making me re-think that. My Dad has a Classic solo and Dual tour for each of his bikes ('01 Fatboy and '06SG). I guess you can say we're a Corbin family.

The HD backrest (driver) will not work with Corbin. The HD detachable passenger backrest will work. (see my above post).

I emailed Dennis Kirk about the seat that is on sale for the RG. They told me it would not fit an 06 or 07 RG. Anyone know why it wont?

I don't get this "uncomfortable until broken-in" business. [:'(]

Why would you buy a seat that was going to be uncomfortable for ANY length of time? Would you buy a mattress or a recliner chair that felt like a concrete slab for an uncertain length of time?

Mustang seats are, from the very first ride, like sitting home on the sofa. And they feel just as good every ride AFTER that. And they feel just as nice after 12 hours in the saddle as they do for a 15-minute run to the liquor store.

I got mine *** fitted in Hollister. Love that seat. Firm but perfect. They will also do adjustments on my seat anytime I decide to go back for free.
