I'm 6'2" and I have 10" yaffes on 09 SG. Very comfortable for me plus I didn't want to go above the fairing.

Go taller, than shorter. Your body will adjust. I have 12" Yafee's and wish I went with 14". I'm 5'11.

Anything above your shoulders takes it's toll on long trips.

At 5 7 I thought 10s would be good. Wrong. 14s on my old SG and again on my ultra. They are perfect.

I'm 5'10" and have 12" Yaffe's, ,they are perfect for me. I wouldn't go shorter if I was you. If you want to keep the stock mirrors 12's are the minimum you can have.

For those who installed 12 in bars. Did you change out the brake and clutch cables or just reroute?
thanks
