Every once in awhile when braking normally, I hear a low deep "wallowing" sound from my front brakes. I thought one time I may have even felt a light extra grab in conjunction with the noise. My SGS has 5600 miles on it. My Fat Boy made the same sound occasionally. Anyone else experience this and know what's going on?

If the bike is still under warrantee I would take it back to the dealer.
I don't know what the sound you're describing sounds like: my 09 with Brembo and ABS gives a little "clunk" on the first stop, but other than that .....

 

Mine goes zzzzzzzzz when I stop. Have you looked at the pads?

 

Brake pads look perfect. 5600 miles on them. To better describe the noise, it is a very low, deep mono-tone sound that happens occasionally.
