Stock 2013 FLHX WHEEL FIT 2005 FLHTCUI?????
I just bought a 2005 Ultra. My boss just had new wheels put on his 2013 Street Glide. He offered to sell me the stock wheels off his FLHX.
My Ultra has the stock Mags and they look fine, but the stock 2013 SG mags look better. And going from a 16" to an 18" front wheel would look awesome I'm sure.
I need advice on how big a job this is going to be. I can't be the first guy to want to do this. I doubt I'll get lucky enough that I could simply pull my stock front and put his on.....
His front wheel comes with the dual stock rotors. I don't know if they are the same diameter as the rotors on my Ultra wheel or not. My guess is no, and I would have to put my rotors in his wheel IF that's even possible...
I think you guys are picking up what I'm putting down right??
I won't ask if it can be done, because ANYTHING can be done.... but any ideas or experience on what I'm getting into is much appreciated. So far, this Forum has been a huge huge help. All you guys rock! Thanks.

front will fit. rotor should swap straight over, bolt pattern is same if they mount down by the bearing. if they mount mid wheel they wont.
you can change to 1 inch bearings, or convert your front axle to 25 mm
either works. cost about the same if you are having someone change the bearings for you.
rear will not fit with out major surgery. 13 wheel and tire wider than 05

There's a thread on doing that right here. Get yourself a long drink first! I have an 18" SG wheel in my '90 Glide, so it can be done, just takes a little research and effort.

Talked to a service rep at the Harley dealership and he told me that all I SHOULD need to do is press out the bearings in the street Glide wheel, and press in new bearing to fit my axle. About $130 a wheel. Also said that the rotors from my 2005 16" wheel should bolt right onto the Street Glide wheel.
He made it sound like it would be pretty easy.
I'm pretty sure he was looking at the correct information and understood what Inwas asking, however, I'm never 100% confident until I've got it done and on the bike.
I plan on double checking before I jump in, but according to Harley Davidson, it's very doable.
Does anyone have any experience with this?? I would think it would handle the same if not better, but I had a guy tell me it would make it ride funny this weekend. I don't think he knows what he was talking about, but I wanna throw it out there and see if anyone wanted to weigh in.
