License plate relocate but need to connect LED plate light
I recently did the license plate relocate on my 2012 FLHTK because I hated the way the license plate stuck up when my tour pack was off. Not a difficult job. I'm finding I like having the tour pack off more than on.
Now I am wondering what others have done to connect the LED light for the plate. I know I will have to splice the plate light into the fender tip light connector. I don't want to lose the tip light. The more lighting the better. I don't do much riding at night, in fact next to none, so I will be able to get away without the plate being lit but there is that off chance I will need to ride at night.
Just wondering if there is a pre-made Y adapter that is plug and play or do I have to come up with my own solution. Also I have to get a tail light without the clear window on top but that's another part I knew I would need once this conversion is all said and done.
I did search for the past 2 hours but found no answer to my question.
