On my '04 FLH add on compass just spins.

HD or aftermarket?
Where is it mounted?
Budget or quality compas?

They are very sensitive to magnetic fields. Mounting near magnets (speakers) or electric wiring or electronics can all mess with them?

HD, on the dash. i change the battery. I can not find the instructions to reset everything.
it been on the bike since 05. What I really need the instruction.
