Maybe a stupid question...

If I've had the SERT and the ECM work done will I need to re-set of recalibrate the system with more air flow from the Big sucker or other AC?

I have the Kuryakyn skull cover with the K&N filter. The pic is not so good but you can kind of see it.

I hate to say it but from what I have heard yes you will need to remap. Since your making a large change in the amount of air moving through the motor.

Now If your just going for a SE aircleaner to a big sucker I doubt you would need to.

I just put one of these kits on mine and really like it, comes with a lot of extras for the money. Must flow more air becuse my MPG went uip to 46 from 44 and I now have a slight lean condition now I had the SE stage onefootball on mine to start with.

Take the football off. Get out an electric drill with a 1/2" bit. Center punch a series of spots across the BOTTOM of the football. Drill out the punch marks. Smooth the holes out with a rat-tailed file. Reinstall the football and you are done. A friend has a built 113" engine in his 07 SG and this seemed to help with air flow. It's also inexpensive. Hope this helps.

Neggy, that is the look I been looking for thanks. Did you need to remap with all that new air?
