Default SG vs RG, which is better?

I ask more out of curiosity than anything else. Ive heard alot of people say the RG is the best touring bike, especially if you ride solo. Ive heard others call it the "cadillac of Harleys". Ive ridden about 40 miles on an SG and compared to my Sporty that thing is a Cadillac, comfy seat, nice position, rides great, etc. So what is different about the RG that would make it better? I have to admit that the RG fairing really hasn't grown on me yet.

ROAD GLIDE is the best ride and a few options not offered on the SG, but the SG has a GREAT look.

I'm not sure one is better than another, it depends on your personal tastes, size, riding habits. As for baggers, I've owned an FLHTCUI, a FLHRI, and two FLTRI models, one of which I currently ride and have 29K miles on it. RoadGlides just handle better in my opinion.......it fits me and is the most comfortable ride for me. Give one a try!

The RG fairing is the key to the improved handling.

it's all about the fairing, u either like the looks or you don't but there is no doubt the frame mounted fairing makes the bike handle better and react better in cross wind conditions.

I will have to disagree some here, I MUCH prefer a batwing fairing to the RG setup.

I get WAY too much wind buffeting on a RG, it shakes my glasses to the point where it blurs my vision.

Can't go with the RG fairing. Love my SG! I want my headlight pointing where I'm going.
