Wondering if anyone has added power amp to speakers.. I have 07 Street Glide with Hogtunes speakers. .. Its just not loud enough for me and I don't want to spend the 200 for the hogtunes amp. Has anyone used something else thats workable, but more reasonable????

 

I went with the Hog Tunes and feel it was worth it to me. Biggest difference is the Max Bass feature.
Another word of caution: If you have upgraded to the 8.19 software you will not be able to run an amp as it will cause a speaker fault code and derate the speaker output. Been there, done that!!! Had to go to Pez's web site and reload the 8.9 software. He was the one that clued me into this one. Thanks Pez!!

 

i started with hogtunes and thought the same thing.switched to j&m and now i find myself turning volume down.now i can use all of the h.k power.

 

biketronics 2weeks behind on there amp using hog tunes speakers now gonna switch to the biketronics speakers w/amp

 

I used the HogTunes amp with the 4 speaker set up. It's awesome and well worth it. All plug and play.

 

I got the hog tunes kit and it really kicks A**
you wont be sorry, and it was a very easy to install.

 

I dont have an amp but I do have the Hog Tunes. Going back to the 8.9 version of software does make a difference. Even with no amp.

 

Where do I find the 8.9 version?

 

I have the Hogtunes amp.It was worth the money.Sound plenty loud and adds a little bass.

 

I can ehco the comments on the HogTunes amp. Very worth it for me! More power across the board and more bass. Oddly enough I didn't have the speaker fault issue and I am running the 8.19 software.
