redline heavy shockproof has a film thickness of 75-250 wt and a fluid friction like 75-90 wt.oil.they also have light weight shockproof and super light shockproof oils.light weight has a fluid friction of 80 wt gear oil or 30 wt motor oil.super light has a fluid wt of A.T.F.I have been using heavy shock proof trans oil in my ultra tranny's for many years(i'm on my second ultra)i swear buy it.It holds up very well when the weather gets real hot out.those specs are from there website.

Shockproof, my bottle doesn't say heavy, has served me well in every bike I used it in. I have also used Mobil 1 20/50 and heavier synthetics. My tranny finds the green light better and shifts quieter with Redline.

Most of my 86,000+ miles are on Shockproof Heavy. I find no downside in cooler weather and it does very well in 100 degree plus weather also. If you can get the shockproof heavy, use it. Don't let the "250" scare you. It is the "75" part that makes it work easily when cold.
