I've had Joe Rocket mesh jackets in the past, and have liked them. Since I'm new to HD, I decided to get a couple new jackets. I bought a heavy leather jacket for winter, and for the other three seasons, I chose the Codec HD mesh. It's great quality, has liner, and does not stand out as much as the one's with orange. It's pretty subtle. I'm a heavy guy, and it vents well. I've had it for four months and love it. I highly suggest it. Here's a link to one on Ebay:

Another vote for the Klim Induction Jacket. I like mine a lot.

I have a tourmaster that is like wearing a screen door, fantastic for hot weather. armor in elbows, shoulders and back. It has a zip in waterproof liner, very lightweight. Reflective piping all over. I've been very happy with it.

If you can afford it, Vanson is probably the best quality you'll find. And it's made in Boston MA.

Mine is similar to this:

But it does have armor in the shoulders and elbows. I've ridden it 500 miles in over 90 degree weather and been comfortable.

Also have an all season convertible job that weighs about 100 pounds, lol:
