I have a '05 rk custom, w/ a carb. I am very happy with it. I am sure you will love the bike. I am just learning to work on my bike, and figure starting off with a carb is a good starting point. JMO. EFI is fine, but rejetting the carb was a lot less painful on my wallet than having to shell out dough for a fuel management system. Again, JMO. Plus, I really like having the reserve tank. I use my trip gauge, and reset at every fuel up. But, for me, my reserve tank makes me feel a little more secure.
