+1 on the American Elites! They are a lot fatter than the 402's-and look great on my bike. Captain,I just noticed your location. I'm about 12 miles from Granville,Illinois!

There MAY be some issues WRT weight loading and the run flat tires.

I rode 2 up on mine with no problems and I am not small by any standard....

Back in the day dealerships that were putting 2 up seats on cop bikes to sell them were changing the tires due to liability concerns

I have Metzlers on my 03 cop bike now.... but they are due to come off this season... I will have to find a tire that wears like steel because this bike may end up at my house in Florida and the roads down there square off tires in a thousand miles.... no curves, no corners, concrete roads.... SUCK.....
