Help identifying non-stock parts
I posted this in the tuning forum, but it's nearly as active as this forum. In fact, the only response I received was advice to come back here and post, so that's where I am, asking for help.
I just ordered my fp3, but I now realize that I don't know some of the non-stock items the previous owner put on my bike. Since I'm pretty much a rookie when it comes to this, and now that I'm doing things completely backwards, I was hoping you guys could help me identify the make for my records, and maybe guide me whether they impact my settings on the fp3.
For now, I haven't taken anything apart of removed anything, I was just hoping someone might recognize them so I don't have to do that.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks, I'll read up on them and save what I have for records. Now to see how the fp3 like them. From what I understand, neither the slip-ons nor the intake will affect what it is doing, but I suppose I'll find out!

You may have trouble finding an exact map for that combination. I just looked on my FP3 app and I didn't see Cobra listed for your bike. You either have to use an existing map for another listed manufacturer that's close to what you have or you can try calling V&H and see what they recommend. The number is 562-921-5388.

However, the fi2000 seemed unreliable - the throttle response was all over the place. It felt like a different bike everytime I rode. I got the fp3 upon recommendation, so I figured I'd give it a try and see how it does.
Currently, the fi2000 is disconnected from the battery, which I assume is good enough to give the fp3 a go and see how it works. Or is that a bad assumption?

Something is wrong with your saddle bag mounting.
The bags should not be resting on the rear muffler mount bolt as shown in pictures.
It looks like saddle bag shoes are not seated on rail correctly and that saddle bag is sitting on support rail directly instead.
That is a lot of heat that is hitting the back of that bag based on picture.
If you hare having a problem with the bike not responding correctly then it would be best to investigate first.
Changing from one device to another without investigation might just confuse the problem by adding another variable.
The Fi2000 is a known unit.
Removing power alone from the Cobra unit is the not the best way to test something because you will again add another variable.
