Any speed over nose-bleed speed is way to fast for me.

After driving flat out for 25 years as a cop, I just like to take it easy and see the scenery for a change...

 

I took my "Ultra" Road Glide out today after doing a Bassani Road Rage 2-1 pipe install yesterday. Let me tell you that i was at110 MPH in 4th gear and still not at the Red line of 6200 (PCIII Rev Extend) and it was still pulling like a mother. But herein lies the problem. I was bearing down on a dump truck pretty fast in the slow lane while a cager was passing him in the Hammer lane. I rolled off the throttle and hit 5th. [:'(]

 

My average speed on my EGStandard is 2.75 mph for the 6,648 hours I've owned it. Figured that out justfor kicks... the fastest it's been is 105 before I backed off.

 

so far, the fastest mine has been is a little over 143, on I65 between White House, Tenn & Bowling Green, Kentucky. Speed was verified by theVette that I was playing tagwith on the way to the Corvette Museum. I wouldn't want to do again...but it was fun a the time!

 

when I did the saddle sore 1000 we ran quite a bit around 100 and it was not close to top it wasn't even breathing hard
