I will be the first to say it.... I think it's a quality piece, I have no desire for a fairing on my RK but if I did I would give it a shot, what's the warranty? I have three LRS shields and all are of the upmost quality so I feel it must be made right!

 

Hi DamQuick, we have a full one warranty on the entire Fairing (excluding paint).

 

What is the weight of a fully assembled fairing?

Any plans to do a plain-Jane fairing (w/o audio) with possible options for a storage?

 

Hi Ex-Leftcoaster, our Fairing comes in at 32 pounds, complete.
With the Aluminum Tooling we made, we are in this project about $200K. The mold is made for 8" speakers and the double din Sony deck, so no sir. And, there are people already doing that, we always try to do something different from others in our industry. We are the only one that i know of, doing 8" speakers and internal mounting systems to support the entire system.

 

I did see this fairing as a late prototype while visiting LRS during Street Vibrations last fall.

It looks great on the bike. The pictures I've seen here don't do it full justice.

It also looks to be well made. The external finish was really smooth when I looked for blemishes.

I can't comment on price other than to say that as it comes complete and ready to go it's probably worth some premium.

I don't own a RK so I'm not a potential customer but if I did I'd buy one.

 

Looks like BHB is gone and I cannot find this fairing anywhere now. It looks like we were right.

 

There's a pic of it on LongRideShields home page about 1/4 way down but I don't see where they have it for sale. Maybe a call to them will yield more info? I do know they changed hands fairly recently.

 

I saw it, I am not going to get one. Someone asked about fairings on Facebook and it got me to thinking what happened to the LRS/BHB fairing. I thought it was amusing.
