Le pera bare bones
#11
I like the low profile look of the HD Badlander seat, but the ride sucked. I got it redone by Mean City Cycles with foam and gel. He took all my stats and reworked the entire seat. I can sit on that all day with zero issue.
But, I really wanted to expose my rear fender and change the look of the bike, so I got a Bare Bones Gel. I gotta say, the seat performs pretty well. We were out for about 4 hours the other day and only made two quick stops and I was ok. Maybe the gel made the difference? It's somewhat firm, but it is supportive.
Last fall I got a two up seat from Ultimate. Like you guys...I have tried them all: HD, Corbin, Saddlemen, Mustang, Day Long, Danny Grey, etc... Ultimate was the best I ever rode in. I'm on the heavier side and it's really a super comfortable seat. No passenger complaints, either.
