Default Soft brake +2

Does anyone have the same issue I am having. Installed a Soft Brake +2 foot brake on my Road King. I feel that the pedal is too heavy and the weight of it engages the rear brake, not so much stopping or slowing the bike, but making the brake light come on. Any others experience this.
Its riding season...ride safe?
Thanks.

No, never had that problem. 24,000 miles with the Soft Brake +2. Does your cruise control cancel when riding? If not, it's not engaging the brake light.

I have not thought of that. I will try it. Thank you.

I have a +3 and have never had that issue. And on two different bikes.

If your brake light is flashing, have you done anything with the front brake lever, changed grips, or done anything with the right side switch box? Invariably, the little plastic button gets broken off the front brake switch and without that, the switch is right at the threshold of activating the brake light and the light will flicker with vibrations of the handle bars.

Thanks btsom. No, I have made no changes to the hand brake lever.
