I'm getting a check engine light after installing bars on 17 road king. Anybody know how to check codes? Bike runs fine and everything seems to work. I did have one wire pull apart but I already fixed it. Could it be throwing a old code? If so how do I clear it?

Thanks for the link. I'll give it a try tomorrow. This has been one frustrating Job. I really hope it's just a old code from trying to crank when a wire was pulled apart. Or anything I can fix without pulling wires out of the bars.

Mine tossed a bunch of codes too when I put the new bars on. I think it was from turning the ign on to check connections/switch operations as I went along that caused it. Just cleared the codes and all is good.
