Figured I'd give the flush mount gauge and cap a try.....definitely somewhat cleaner look - have to decide if I like it long term.

but seriously, looks good. be careful when fueling up though, if you let the gas nozzle tilt against the ring, you can break the finish off of the plastic. really easy on the chrome, but i think probably just as easy on the black. good thing is it only costs about $10 for a replacement.

there are led 'dots' on the left side gauge.

 

Whenever I get my tank repainted I'll be getting a set of those for sure, love the clean look!!!
