I love mine have had it for about a year with no problems. I really like being able to check my oil without the use of an oven mitt.

 

I've heard this before. I keep mystock dipstick in a saddlebag, just in case.

 

Had the temp only gauge on my RK Custom, worked great until it wouldn't come off. Glad to see the threaded change for 07. Did have problems with water fogging it up. Probably wouldn't buy another one. If I did would definately replace the Air Temp who cares gauge in the fairing with the fairing mounted gauge. My .02...

I had one for over a year. It got water in it at Myrtle Beach and stopped working. You had to let the engine warm up forever to get a reading on the oil level. $130.00 wasted. I've since taken my stock one and replaced the cap with a Kuryakyn zombie cap.

 

The first one failed on my 05 RG. It was replaced with an upgraded unit. It also failed. A third one failed and I called it quits.

This year, '07, I thought I'd check it out again. The HD parts guy said they still aren't that reliable.
