New Rineharts installed!

RE: New Rineharts installed!
Has Rinehart improved their quality ? I went through 3 sets of True Duals on my '05 Ultra - all three cracked near the bend next to the rear cylinder. No problem getting them replaced. The dealer said they changed the design and that it wouldn't happen again every time. Friend of mine at the dealership said they had replaced "piles" of them . The 4th set went on in August 2006. Traded the bike in Sept. so I don't how that set held up.

I put them on my 07 UC in last January with an AC,& PCIII USB. I they were to loud at 2500 - 3k rpm's for me. I even tried ear plugs but I wasn't happy. I tried wraping them with fiberglass, but that did't help. Mine were so loud I could not hear the radio. They only became bearable on the highway at 70- 80 mph. So I bit the bullet and bought the quiet baffels for $109. Made a big difference .They now sound like my old V&H slip ons I had on my old RK Only they have a deeper, not louder sound to them. I am happy with them now. For me the best sounding pipes are always going to be the ones I hear on sombody elses bike. But for know I am satisfied .
